The Seattle Tigers is a select baseball club based in the West Seattle/Burien area.
We started the Tigers to focus on pre-High School players (8U-12U) where the larger Seattle programs fall short. Younger athletes need strong social connections, active coaches, and baseball fundamentals. We develop kids into top tier select players who love baseball and then launch them into their High School development program with a big head start.
Social connections. We are LL/PONY and All Star friendly. Our kids play with friends in leagues such as West Seattle Little League, West Seattle Baseball, South Highline LL, and Renton LL. Our teams travel 2-3 times per year so they can discover places like Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and the much-loved Arizona Spring Training at national tournaments together. The friendships help them enjoy the game.
Active and engaged coaches. All of our coaches are volunteers that love the sport of baseball. They are invested in the team and the players as opposed to earning a side paycheck.
Baseball fundamentals. We are outdoors at Chief Sealth HS turf fields in Fall and Spring. When indoors we are at the world class Big League Edge facility in Kent. Partnering with Big League Edge allows the Tigers to work on a full-sized infield throughout the winter and take advantage of the BLE facility’s advanced baseball training technology. We start with drills on the basics. We gradually introduce them to pro trainers, techniques, and analytics so that by age 13 they are ready to move into one of the High School prep programs in the area.
The Tigers’ track record speaks for itself. Last year Tigers teams each took home tournament titles in the Spring. Seattle Tigers players have all been standouts in their respective recreational leagues, making all-stars rosters in their PONY league and Little Leagues.
